Rack or Barrel
This process is normally performed on a racking line. A barrel line is available for high volume smaller parts.

Special Treatment
A range of special treatment options are available. The lacquer coating cannot be performed on this process.

Maximum Size
The plating tank size is 10 x 5 x 2 ft. Maximum size for the barrel line is 8 x 2.5 x 3 ft.

Thickness
Range from flash (less than one-tenth) to 1 thou (0.001 inch).

Base Material
This process can be performed on most base metals, including aluminum. There are special processes for plating on aluminum and bronze.
